Tangent International is looking for a Logistics Manager in Sao Paolo on behalf of one of our clients.

Here are the responsibilities of the role:

• Establish a local country logistics model, controlling overseas logistics risk and reducing overseas logistics cost.
• You would be responsible for the management of customs, secondary transportation and warehouse.
• Participate in different projects, understand the operator's logistics needs, developing logistics solutions
• Training of overseas local staff and management of local logistics team would fall under your remit
• Assist overseas logistics platform personnel to carry out local supplier certification management, overseas procurement, incoming material inspection and so on
• Assisting international freight forwarding and responsible for the cargo damage claims during local transportation and warehousing

Qualifications:

• Extensive knowledge of supply chain and be familiar with the logistics processes and policies in Brazil
• Bachelor's Degree or higher education.
• Over 8 years experience working with supply chain.
• Experience in a telecommunication operator or vendor is preferred.
• Strong team management skills
• Strong communication skills, with proficiency in English and Portuguese
