We are looking for an experienced Squad Leader to be part of our team in Brazil, working with one of our largest international clients in the financial sector. In this position, you will lead a development team and will work closely with teams in the EU Zone, UK and Brazil. You need advanced and/or fluent proficiency in English to communicate with these different teams and clients during the workday. The main focus is on team leadership and delivery, agile/scrum practices and Kanban.

Main responsibilities

• Coach the development team in agile principles and scrum practices and ceremonies;
• Analyse the established metrics and work with the teams to provide improvement and action plans;
• Support problem and solution discussions (internal conflicts, product matters, communication issues) with the team, focusing exclusively on solving problems and fostering collaboration and innovation;
• Drive and support product decisions within the development team;
• Lead the team and be the reference for business understanding, priorities, work organization;
• Establish a sense of purpose within the team;
• Deploy, train and foster the agile principles and scrum practices within the team;
• Manage risks, dependencies and communicate it properly within the team and clients' leadership;
• Work with the team in metrics analysis and improvement plans for each delivery cycle

Requirements

• Availability to work 100% on-site in our Campinas office;
• A good overview of the Software Development Lifecycle;
• Advanced and/or Fluent proficiency in English;
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum, team leadership and/or project management;
• Experience in understanding the customer's business, their needs and helping to turn them into clear and detailed backlog requirements for our teams;
• Experience applying Agile principles and Scrum practices;
• Experience in scope management, roadmap, backlog refinement and prioritization with clients;
• Good communication, being able to understand the audience and set the proper tone to assure a clear understanding of the work (technical or non-technical), priorities, current status, and action plans;
• Good presentation skills to report status, discuss solutions and remove impediments.
